Just when you think you’ve finished updating your headshot in all the places it needs to be seen—here’s another idea!
This tip came to us from Rob and Dana. They work as a team at Fraser Advanced Information Systems, and they came into our studio together. They got individual headshots as well as a photo of the two of them together.
Updating Your Headshot in All the Places
When we asked Rob how they were using the new headshots, he mentioned that both he and Dana had updated their LinkedIn profiles, as well as their Outlook profiles and email signatures. The other thing he shared was that they updated their Apple My Card contact profiles. This is what he said:
“Because we had multiple shots, both Dana and I set up our contact profiles on our iPhones using the full body picture as the image on the screen when we call people and the headshot as the pic on the text log. Multiple people have told us both how great and professional it looks: not only the pic, but how we set them up on the phones.”

Maximize the value of your headshot investment with multiple poses
Rob and Dana were able to fully use the capabilities of editing the My Card contact settings in a way that looks very professional, because they each got a waist-up photo along with their closer-cropped headshots.
Having a library of images to draw from that includes different poses is a great asset. Different uses for your photos may look better with more vertical or more horizontal orientation. A full-length image and a zoomed-in traditional headshot that coordinate is the perfect solution.
Thanks for sharing your idea, Rob and Dana! Your examples look great!
