I love my job! I get to meet so many people. From real estate agents to accountants and small business owners to my most recent client in the studio – a queen! – everyone has a unique story and personality. It is my privilege to learn more about their goals, accomplishments and personalities; and it is a joy to capture authentic images of each person who gets in front of my camera.
How you treat the one reveals how you regard the many, because everyone is ultimately a one.
Stephen R. Covey
It is not everyday that I get a phone call about taking a headshot of a queen in the studio. But when I got the call this past Tuesday I knew it was going to be a fun shoot.
Her search for a headshot photographer
Lexi won the title of High School Rodeo Queen for Pennsylvania this past Sunday. She needed a headshot to send for the national competition within 5 days! Lexi and her mom frantically started searching for a studio where they could get a headshot done fast, and found the Berks Headshots studio. I’m so glad they did!
The Queen’s headshot will be her First Impression
The 2020 national competition for the High School Rodeo Queen will be held in Oklahoma in the middle of July. Lexi’s headshot will be the first impression that the judges get of her as they review the competitors bios and information. She will be participating with 53 contestants from the United States, Mexico and Canada.
Irish Creek Farm & Boarding Stables & the High School Rodeo Queen from Berks County, Pennsylvania
Along with submitting a bio, taking part in interviews and giving a speech, Lexi will also be judged on horsemanship. She has a lifetime of experience in this area from her time growing up on the family’s farm in Mohrsville, PA. At Irish Creek Farm & Boarding Stables, the family provides boarding and gives lessons in horsemanship.
Congratulations Lexi and all the best to you as you prepare for the next step!
You deserve a great headshot, even if you’re not a queen 😉 I am here to help, click below to get started.
