Business Headshot Update Before & After

We recently had the pleasure of shooting updated headshots for Dione Collins. Dione’s old headshot was a selfie that distorted the shape of her face and had some distracting elements in the background.

Headshot Update

Dione brought several outfit choices, including one similar to what she had on in her old headshot. She ended up choosing a few photos in several different outfits and a variety of poses and expressions. Now she has a library of images for different applications. She updated her LinkedIn profile with one of them, as you can see below.

Dione's LinkedIn profile headshot before was a phone photo from a wide angle that distorted the shape of her face. Her new professional headshot makes her look true-to-life beautiful!

Update to a professional headshot

Dione’s old photo was okay—not too dark, wearing professional clothes, with hair and makeup done. But because of the close-up, wide-angle camera, her face shape is distorted. The lighting also makes her face look flatter and her skin look extra shiny. The professional studio lighting in her updated headshot is even and smooth. The combination of professional camera equipment and coaching in pose and expression from our experienced photographer depict her face as it actually looks.
